Benefits of Banana Face Mask– The main reason that bananas are so beneficial is because of the nutrients they contain. Bananas contain potassium which hydrates your skin. Vitamin B helps to ward off free radicals which can cause your skin to age prematurely.
Vitamin A assists with healing dehydrated skin and it also acts as a skin smoother as well. Amino acid not only nourishes your skin but it also helps skin to keep its elasticity and makes connective tissue stronger. Zinc works to ward off germs that cause your skin to experience acne breakouts.
Vitamin C is needed for controlling the oil on your skin as well as for collagen production while Vitamin E helps to protect your skin from sun damage and also helps to prevent premature aging skin. Finally, lectin is beneficial for getting rid of the bacteria that causes pimples.
Banana Face Mask– This is your basic banana face mask. All you need to do is mash ½ of a banana, apply the mashed mixture to your skin, allow to set for 5 minutes and rinse with warm water.
Avocado and Banana Face Mask– Combine ½ an avocado and ½ of a banana in a plate until smooth. Apply to your face, allow to set for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water.
Banana and Oatmeal Face Mask– The mixture of these ingredients is ideal for moisturizing dry skin. In a bowl, combine ½ cup of cooked oatmeal, 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 egg yolk and ½ mashed banana. Apply the mask to your face, let it set for 15 minutes and rinse with cool water.
