There are several ways to make coffee, but the two most popular ways are by using instant coffee or a coffeemaker. They each have their own method of making the coffee, but the bottom line is that they both make a delicious cup of coffee. Of course, the type of bean you choose and the flavor of the coffee bean determines how it will taste.
Instant Coffee– For a basic cup of instant coffee, you will need 1 cup of hot water and 1-2 teaspoons of instant coffee. You can add other essentials to it afterwards if you wish, like milk, cream and sugar. You want to use boiling water whether you make it in a pot on the stove or by using a kettle.
Once the water is boiled, unplug kettle or turn off the stove. Take a clean coffee mug and add in your instant coffee. Depending on your taste, you will add 1-2 teaspoons per 8 ounces of water. Pour in the water and stir well until it is mixed in. You can now add in the extras. There are several things you can use like sugar and creamer or sugar and milk. Other ideas include adding a couple of drop of vanilla extract or some cocoa powder. Now your drink is ready using this method.
Coffeemaker– First, you need to choose your coffee. Mild flavors are usually classic roasts, while bolder flavors are French roasts. Fill your coffeemaker with the amount of water according to the number of cups you are making. You don’t have to use bottled water. You can use regular tap water since it gets boiled in the machine, anyways.
When it comes to measuring your coffee grounds, the general rule of thumb is to use 1 tablespoon of grounds for every 6 ounces of water for mild and 2 tablespoons of grounds for every 6 ounces of water for strong. You can add in extras that you may like-such as milk, creamer and sugar into the cup, once you have made it. Use a flavored creamer, spices like nutmeg and/or cinnamon, honey, or even some cocoa for a flavor boost. If you like this post, see more DIY, recipes and tips on Pinterest.
