Mango Peach Jam
Make this Mango Peach Jam when mangoes go on sale at your local grocery store. This recipe will make 4 8 oz jars. Wake up each morning to a taste of the tropics with this delicious and easy to make Mango Peach Jam.
Ingredients
4 peaches
2 Mangoes
1 lemon
1 cup of sugar
4 8oz mason jars or 8 4oz jars
Directions
Slice peaches in half and remove the pit. Then finely chop.
Finely chop mango removing pits.
In a large saucepan place both peaches and mangoes.
Add 1 cup of sugar and juice from 1 lemon.
Over a medium heat let fruit cook for about 10-15 minutes.
Once fruit comes to a boil add one package of fruit pectin.
Stir fruit so it does not stick.
Continue cooking over a medium heat until sauce becomes thick.
Use a potato masher and mash the remaining fruit chunks or pour into your food processor and pulse for 1 minute.
Ladle into 4 8 oz Mason jars or 8 4 oz Mason jars.
