4 Layer Strawberry Dessert
This 4 Layer Strawberry Dessert is the perfect dessert dish to serve on Valentine’s Day. Its white and pink colors make it the perfect dessert. It can also be served as a summer dessert to cool you down.
4 Layer Strawberry Dessert Ingredients
First Layer
2 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
1 stick butter, melted
2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Second Layer
8 oz cream cheese
1 c. whipped cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Third Layer
1 package of Instant Strawberry Pudding
2 cups milk
Fourth Layer
2 cups whipped cream
Pecans, walnuts or Graham Cracker Crumbs for garnish
Chocolate shavings (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
First Layer Directions–
In a small bowl, add the first layer ingredients and mix well.
Place in a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
Spread the crumb mixture around and press down firmly to form a base.
Place in refrigerator and allow to cool for 30 minutes. Pressed for time? Place in the freezer for approximately 10 minutes to quick cool.
Second Layer Directions–
Place cream cheese in bowl.
Add in powdered sugar.
Press the tines of the fork into the cream cheese to soften.
Use fork to mix in the powdered sugar.
Mix well until completely mixed in.
Third Layer Directions–
Read the pudding directions that are found on the package.
Make the pudding according to the package.
Refrigerate to cool.
Fourth Layer Directions–
Place 2 cups whipping cream into glass bowl. Use electric beater to beat whipped cream until stiff peaks form.
Use a ice cream scoop to take a good amount of fresh whipped cream out of the glass dish and top the strawberry dessert with it. You can also use a piping bag to hold your layer ingredients to make placing it in layers in a glass parfait glass much easier.
Decide on which kind of garnish you wish to use.
If you are using a nut garnish, you may want to chop the nuts before placing them on top of the whipped cream.
If you prefer chocolate as garnish, use a potato peeler to shave some of the chocolate off of your favorite chocolate bar.
How to Put the 4 Layer Strawberry Dessert Together
