DIY Essential Oil Soothing Calendula Flower Soap
Makes 6 Bars
Ingredients
1-pound clear glycerin melt and pour soap base
1 tablespoon jojoba oil
1 tablespoon Calendula oil
15-20 drops myrrh essential oil
15-20 drops geranium essential oil
1/4 cup dried Calendula flowers
Mica powder for coloring
Spray bottle of rubbing alcohol

Directions
Steps 1-2: Melt soap base in microwavable bowl for 30 second intervals until melted completely. Then add the jojoba oil to the melted soap base.
Step 3: Then add the Calendula oil. This oil has been shown to have numerous benefits for your skin. It has antiseptic and antimicrobial properties that can help speed up healing of wounds and minor cuts. It works great on eczema and other skin conditions. It also has been shown to relieve on acne, insect bites and bed sores.
Step 4: Add myrrh essential oil. This oil has been shown to treat reduce inflammation, speed up healing, and fight infections.

Step 6: Add color if you like.
Step 7: Whisk ingredients together.
Step 8: Spray mold with rubbing alcohol.
Step 9: Add Calendula flowers to bottom of the mold.
Steps 10-12: Pour soap mixture into mold, sprinkle more flowers on the top and spray mold with rubbing alcohol.
Step 13: Allow to harden for at least two hours and gently pop out of mold. I recommend storing in a plastic bag or a container with a lid.
