Ways to Maximize Coupon Savings
Learning how to maximize coupon savings is the key to saving money. Becoming adept at this will greatly reduce the cost of your weekly or monthly grocery bill. You can try out some of the tips to couponing below and discover how much you will save off of your groceries, electronics, and so much more.
Match Coupons with Sales
Everything ends up on sale eventually. Your local ads should be your best friends for finding deals. Never throw a coupon away unless it’s expired. As soon as an item goes on sale use your coupon with it. Most stores follow a 6 week cycle. If you miss a sale don’t beat yourself up. It will be back.
Stack Coupons
One of the best kept secrets to couponing. Stacking means using 1 manufacture coupon and 1 store coupon on a single item. Any store that puts out their own coupons allows for them to be doubled. Make sure to check your store’s counting policy to be sure.
Doubling Coupons
A lot of stores will double coupons up to $0.50. That mean you are actually getting $1.00 off. SCORE! That’s great right? There are some stores that will let you double your eCoupons. The best way to find out which stress will double coupons is by doing an internet search in your area. All stores are different. If you don’t have internet access giving them a quick call would work also.
Email Subscriptions
Coupons aren’t just for the grocery store. Subscribe via email to your favorite store and watch the savings roll in. Places like Kohl’s, K-mart, and American Eagle to name just a few. The coupon savings are truly endless.
Contact Manufacturers
Often times if you write a letter to your favorite manufacture telling them how much you love them, they will send coupons directly to your home. You might even score a few free samples out of it. Definitely worth the time. If you don’t hear back don’t be sad. You might get a few duds but it’s totally worth going for. This is one of my favorite ways to save money
